Hey there! I'm Digi (DIGITBRAUL | IPA: ˈdɪʤət brɔl), a computer science student, electronic music producer, and digital artist.
My passion lies in video game development and music and I like to incorporate both in my current course of study. I enjoy playing cozy platformer and role-playing video games as well as dark fantasy visual novels, manga and anime. These experiences fuel my inspiration and creativity.In my creative work, I blend music and storytelling to bring my compositions to life. Through my music, I aim to evoke different moods and settings that complement the narrative of a story depicted through my artwork. Drawing inspiration from Japanese manga, anime and video game music influences, my art style and music composition style results in a unique fusion of VGM, J-Pop, Glitch Hop, Lo-Fi and Jazz Fusion.As an indie game developer, I focus on game programming, music composition, sound design and occasionally dabble in game art and visuals, I primarily do retro-themed video games on my own, but I'm open to working on several other styles in a team setting. I have experience working with various game frameworks and engines, including Godot, LÖVE (Lua), and the SDL library in C/C++.
